The Events of 11 September in the United States of America.

What Happened?

This could be a long story. I have spent many years researching what happened not only that day, but before and after that day as well. There has to be a logical, recorded verifiable record of events somewhere. It was a huge event, many people died. The media was there, people were there, CCTV's were there. It should be possible to build up a complete storyline from beginning to end. I am not the only one who has attempted this feat. Many others have, but at the end of the day we are left with two stark choices, we believe the official storyline, or we don't.

For those who are interested, you can wade through the records that I have created links for. I will attempt to summarise what is found within those links but if you want to know the background to anything there is no substitute for looking yourself. This topic more than any other has generated an absolute mountain of argument and counter-argument from all levels of society on the internet. It is not simply a matter of academics v. the uneducated. There are field experts, politicians and military personnel on both sides of the fence. No source is more credible than another, so what we are left with is an analysis of the facts. How the facts are presented depends on who is presenting them.

It is a complex weave of events on an international scale, with motives, actions and reactions all coming into play. One thing is clear, it was not simply a case of a few illegal immigrants hijacking a few planes and crashing them into buildings, which then collapsed.

I will attempt to start at the beginning, but what is considered the beginning depends on a viewpoint. Events have triggers, otherwise they wouldn't happen. We need to identify the initial trigger.

The problem is that there are so many start points, I may be accused of attempting to influence your judgement no matter which one I start from. Therefore, I will describe several start points and attempt to bring them together at a common denominator. This may happen at several junctures due to the variances in the evidence.

As with so many theories, there is never 'one' that can be assumed to be correct. Even the evidence for either case has holes in it, which is why there has been so much debate. By the time you reach the end of this analysis you may be more confused than ever. Confused maybe, but you will certainly be better informed.

Where do we begin?

As you can see, there are a lot of players and a lot objectives. Now perhaps you see why this is so complex.

The first thing to bear in mind is that Al-Queada and Iraq are not linked. Osama Bin Laden was not an ally of Saddam Hussein. They were on different political paths, and if anything they were opposed to each other.

Bush states the Opposite

There is no link between the US led invasion of Iraq and the events of 911. The invasion of Iraq was planned prior to 911, it did not occur because of it. Al-Queada is not an organised group of terrorists. The name for the movement was created by the CIA, who supplied it with arms. The term describes an 'ideal' not an organisation. A direct translation is 'The Base'. Osama Bin Laden is connected to the Saudi Royal Family. The Bin Laden Family business was connected to the Bush Administration.

More on the Iraq Invasion is covered on another page. For now, we need to understand that the invasion was not a result of what happened in the United States on 11 September.In other words, the US was not attacked because of anything to do with Iraq, or its' administration.

False Flag Terrorism

It is also common practice to use what is termed 'False Flag' terrorism to justify an attack on another country. Hitler used it to justify his actions. Many commentators have remarked on the similarity between what happened then, and what happened on 11 September 2001.

What else was happening that day?

The US Military decided to conduct an exercise involving a terrorist attack on the US. All military communication lines were busy, and all defence systems were ordered to stand down, including the fighter support that would have intercepted the 911 hijeckers.

Then transfer the focus to ineptitude, rather than guilt

Now no one can be accused of anything. It was all a simple misunderstanding.

Where was The President of The United States of America while all of this was going on?

This video is significant. The President states categorically that he watched the first plane hit the first tower before entering the classroom. This was not possible as the broadcast of the first impact was not made until afterwards. He is also claimed to have been told 'America is under attack'. This was the code to inform him that his nation, of which he was Commander In Chief, was being attacked. At that point all that he could have known was that one plane had hit the first WTC, remember that he could not have watched it on TV as claimed. It seems surprising that in the circumstances he remained seated and behaved as if nothing had happened. What is not quite so apparent is that he is holding the schoolbook upside down?

Note how within minutes, Fox News can announce that Osama Bin Laden is involved, the pilot experience, and the training schools. They also announce that the terrorists names are on the passenger manifests. However, as you will discover later, the names of the those individuals that have been identified as the hijackers do not appear on the manifests. They also state that cell phone calls have been intercepted between hijackers. This raises the questions of how did anyone know at that point which passengers were terrorists, and how did anyone manage to filter out individual cell phone calls made from a moving plane in amongst all the other cell phone calls that were being made that day? What was their source of data?

Notes on the phone calls from the hijacked planes

In one of two calls Ted Olsen said he received from his wife, Barbara, she asked "What should I tell the pilot?," referring to Chic Burlingame, the captain, who was then supposedly seated in the rear with Barbara. Chic was a graduate of Naval Academy and flew F-4s in Vietnam. It seems highly doubtful that he could have been persuaded to hand over the stick without a fight, and agree to sit in the back of the plane, especially when controllers had been broadcasting to pilots that Flight 11 had been hijacked.
Madeline Sweeney, who was the "anchor" for Flight 11, says: "I see, buildings, water, ... Oh my God!", immediately before the crash, as though she, a Massachusetts-based flight attendant of 12 years, had never seen the Manhattan skyline before. Supposedly she was continuously monitoring the view out a window.
The call to Mark Bingham's mother, Alice, from someone claiming to be her son, was very short. After his awkward introduction, the caller failed to respond to Alice's twice-repeated question, and then the line went dead. (It bears mentioning, however, that Mark Bingham's mother is on record as saying she has no doubt that it was Mark on the phone.)
A person claiming to be Todd Beamer, one of the heroes of the purported Flight 93 passenger revolt, talked to a Verizon supervisor for 13 minutes. Why would Beamer prefer to talk to a stranger than to someone in his own family?
The alleged Todd Beamer talked like a reporter, giving the blow-by-blow account of the goings-on right up to the famous "Let's roll".
Except for the Beamer call, all of the Flight 93 calls were very short, usually just a few sentences, with the caller ending the conversation by saying they had to go, only to call back later in many cases for another short call. Why did they have to go? Were the hijackers enforcing a one-minute time limit on all conversations?
There is no public evidence of recordings of any of the conversations, despite the extended length of some of them, except for the alleged calls from Flight 11 attendants Madeline Sweeney and Betty Ong.
